3000th Communication

On March 14, 2008, Fidelity Lodge celebrated a very singular occurrence, our 3000th Regular Communication. Originally scheduled for February 22, a bad snow storm prevented us from celebrating it then.

The night started out with a fabulous Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner prepared by chef extraordinaire John DeSocio. We then went upstairs for our stated communication.

We celebrated the occasion by conferring the Fellowcraft Degree on Bro. EA David Shearer. After the degree, RW John Margroff, District Deputy Grand Master, presented WB Fred Van Dyk, our Worshipful Master in 2007, with his Past Master's Certificate.

Finally, the lodge commemorated the evening by voting to dedicate the Lodge Room to WB John Martin Knapp, founding member and first Master of Fidelity Lodge, and the candidate preparation room will be dedicated to Bro. Albert G. Hopper, the first Mason raised in Fidelity Lodge.

After the meeting, we adjourned to the dining room, where we enjoyed a beautiful cake prepared for the occasion.
