Two Fidelity Members Installed

On Saturday, April 27, MW David A. Dorworth of Covenant Lodge #161 was installed as Grand Master of Masons of the State of New Jersey in a ceremony at the Trenton Masonic Temple.

What made the day extra special for Fidelity Lodge was that, for only the second time in our history, we had two of our Past Masters installed as Grand Officers. During MW Bro Dorworth's term, RW Michael Firkser (WM 2008-2009) will serve as the District Ritual Instructor for the Second Masonic District and RW Roy Simpadian (WM 2010-2011) will serve as Grand Chaplain.

The only other time this happened in Fidelity Lodge history was 1982 when RW Robert Lobeck served as District Deputy Grand Master for the Second Masonic District and RW Everett L. Labagh served as Grand Chaplain. <A list of all members of Fidelity Lodge who have served as Grand Lodge officers>

This is a great honor not just for the brothers selected, but for Fidelity Lodge. We wish Brothers Firkser and Simpadian all the best as they serve our Grand Lodge.
