  • Demitted from same to become a Charter Member of Eagle Lodge #431 (later renamed to William McKinley Lodge #431)
  • His first Vice-President was NJ Mason Garrett A. Hobart, a member of Falls City Lodge #82 (now Wyckoff #287). Hobart died in 1899 during McKinley's first term.
